Occidental Petroleum Corp. engages in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas and currently employs 11,973 full-time employees.  The firm operates through three segments: oil and gas, chemical and midstream and marketing. The oil and gas segment explores for, develops and produces oil, which includes condensate, natural gas liquids (NGL) and natural gas. OLCV develops carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) projects, including the commercialization of DAC technology, and invests in other low-carbon technologies intended to reduce GHG emissions from its operations and partners with other industries to help reduce their emissions.
