Scirocco Energy Plc is a natural resource investment company, which engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas assets. The Company’s investing policy is to acquire a diverse portfolio of direct and indirect interests in exploration, development and production oil and gas assets, and any other subsurface gas assets of potential commercial significance, located worldwide but predominantly in the Americas, Europe or Africa. Such investments may result in the Company acquiring the whole part of a company or project. The company holds a 25% working interest in the Ruvuma Petroleum Sharing Agreement (Ruvuma PSA) in the south-east of Tanzania covering an area of approximately 3,447 square kilometers (km2), of which approximately 90% lies onshore and the balance offshore. Its Kiliwani North Development Licence (KNDL) is located on Songo Songo Island in Tanzania and contains the Kiliwani North-1 (KN-1) well. Its subsidiaries include Scirocco Energy International Limited and Scirocco Energy (UK) Limited.
