Taylor Maritime Investments Ltd. is an investment holding company, which plans to invest in a diversified portfolio of vessels which will primarily be second-hand geared ships. The Company’s investment objective is to provide investors with a regular income and the capital growth, through investing primarily in vessels, usually employed, or to be employed, on fixed period charters. The firm is focused on investing in a diversified portfolio of second-hand vessels, which will primarily be Geared Handysize and Supramax bulk vessels. The firm will hold vessels through special purpose vehicles (SPVs), which will be owned and controlled by the Company. The firm may acquire vessels through asset purchases or through the acquisition of the relevant vessel owning SPV. The company also invests in vessels through joint ventures with other parties. Its fleet consisted of approximately 31 vessels out of which 29 are Handysize and approximately two are Supramax.
