Katoro Gold Plc engages in the acquisition, development, and exploration of gold and nickel properties. The principal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in gold and nickel exploration activities in Tanzania and South Africa. Its projects include Haneti project and Blyvoor Gold Mine. Haneti project is located in central Tanzania, which is a polymetallic system with potential for nickel (sulfide and laterite), platinum group metals, copper, gold, lithium and rare earth elements. The exploration of Haneti is carried out at two priority targets, namely Mihanza Hill and Mwaka Hill. The company covers an area of approximately 5,000 square kilometers in central Tanzania and forms a near contiguous project block. The Blyvoor Gold Mine is located approximately 75 kilometers (km) southwest of Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. The company lies approximately 6 km south of Carletonville.
