It operates through two segments: Complex Machining segment (CMS) and Turbine and Engine Component segment (TEC). The CMS segment consists of Air Industries Machining Corp. (AIM) and Nassau Tool Works, Inc. (NTW), which manufactures structural parts and assemblies focusing on flight safety, including aircraft landing gear, arresting gear, engine mounts, flight controls, throttle quadrants, and other components. The TEC segment consists of Sterling Engineering Company (SEC), which makes components and provides services for aircraft jet engines and ground-power turbines. It is a manufacturer of complex machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and defense (A&D) market. Its products are used by original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the manufacture of fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters jet turbine engines, and other complex A&D products.
